On December 5, 2023, from 10 AM to 4 PM, a scheduled technical inspection of the public warning system will be held in the Vitebsk region.

Electric sirens will be activated, and messages will be broadcast on the radio. The event is held to test the technical operability and effective functioning of the system in case of emergencies or natural disasters. We ask residents and guests of the region to treat the ongoing work with understanding, maintain calm and public order.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds of the rules of conduct when electric sirens are activated. The activation of electric sirens means the transmission of the warning signal "Attention to all". Upon hearing this signal, you must turn on your radio and television receivers to listen to the emergency message.
