On October 13, employees of the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Miory District Department of Internal Affairs will hold a set of preventive events "Driver-Pedestrian: Communication According to the Rules!"

Since the beginning of the year, 26 road traffic accidents involving minors have been registered in the Vitebsk region (31 in 2022), in which 1 child died and 30 were injured. 12 of them were child pedestrians. In order to stabilize the road safety situation, as well as due to the reduction of daylight hours and the increased risks of traffic accidents involving pedestrians, the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Miory District Department of Internal Affairs will hold a set of preventive measures "Driver-Pedestrian: Communication According to the Rules!" on October 13, aimed at preventing traffic accidents at pedestrian crossings.

As part of the measures, traffic police officers will conduct preventive discussions and organize raid activities near pedestrian crossings.
