Bathing areas have been designated within the territory of the Miory district

Two swimming locations have been designated in the Miory district:

the area within the city beach on Lake "Miory" (city park "Poluostrov"),

the area within the beach on Lake "Obsterno" (on the side of the village Perebrodye, Miory district).

The corresponding decision was made by the Miory District Executive Committee.

It is forbidden to swim in chalk quarries, technical and melioration canals, fire ponds, artificial reservoirs, at dams, dikes, locks, and other hydraulic structures.

Dangerous swimming areas have been identified in the city of Miory:

the shore of Lake Miory – 50 meters in both directions from the banya (bathhouse) of the city of Miory,

the shore of Lake Miory on the side of Ozernaya Street in the city of Miory,

the shore of Lake Miory on the side of Kirov Street in the city of Miory from the bridge over the Meritsa River to the building of the Miory District Organization of the All-Union Society for the Rescue of Persons on Water (OSVOD).

In the city of Disna, swimming is prohibited within 100 meters in both directions from the ferry crossing on the Western Dvina River.
